Homemade Granola

Ingredients

3 cups oats

2 cups cashews (chopped)

1 cup almonds (chopped)

2 cups shredded coconut or coconut strips

1/2 cup chia seeds

1/3 maple syrup

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1/2 cup coconut oil + 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

1. Melt the coconut oil and butter together on the stove.

2. Add all other ingredients to a large bowl and mix in the melted coconut oil/butter + maple syrup.

3.  Spread onto two baking sheets and cook for 75 minutes at 275 degrees fahrenheit. Flip mixture every 25 minutes. 

Recipe Notes:

- Store leftovers in the fridge

- Add 1-2 more tbsp of coconut oil and butter if the dry ingredients don’t seem coated before baking

- Omit the butter for a diary free option and add more coconut oil instead
