Turmeric Tahini Broccoli

Ingredients

1 head broccoli, cut into florets

1 1/2 teaspoons turmeric

3 tablespoons tahini

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon ground ginger or freshly grated ginger

2 teaspoons garlic powder or 2 cloves of fresh garlic, minced

Juice of 1 lemon 

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

2. Chop your broccoli into florets.

3. In a large bowl, mix together the tahini, maple syrup, garlic, turmeric, salt, pepper, ginger, and lemon juice until well combined.

4. Add the broccoli florets to the bowl and coat them evenly in the turmeric mixture.

5. Spread the coated broccoli evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, checking halfway through to ensure the broccoli is not burning.

7. Once the broccoli is tender and slightly crispy, remove it from the oven and enjoy!
