Peanut Butter Cups

These homemade peanut butter cups are sure to satisfy your chocolate craving without the additives and excess sugars found in store-bought candy.

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups dark chocolate chips

1 tbsp coconut oil

3/4 cup peanut butter

1 tbsp pure maple syrup

Sea salt, optional

Instructions

1. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together over low heat.

2. Line a muffin pan with muffin liners.

3. Scoop a spoonful of the melted chocolate mixture into each muffin liner.

4. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes.

5. In a separate bowl, mix together the peanut butter and maple syrup until smooth.

6. Add a spoonful of the peanut butter to each muffin liner and top with the remaining chocolate.

7. Place back in freezer for 15 minutes.

8. Remove from freezer and top with sea salt.

Recipe Notes:

- Use a peanut butter that is made with only organic peanuts and salt

- Store leftovers in the refrigerator
