Chocolate Dipped Pretzels
Making chocolate-dipped pretzels using store-bought gluten-free pretzels is a delicious and simple treat that is both salty and sweet. You can also get creative with the toppings by using crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or a pinch of sea salt.
Ingredients
1. Prepare a Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. This will make it easier to remove the chocolate-dipped pretzels once they've hardened.
2. Melt the Chocolate in a small sauce pan over low heat. If the chocolate is too thick, you can add 1-2 teaspoons of coconut oil to help thin it out.
3. Dip the Pretzels: Take a pretzel and dip it into the melted chocolate, making sure to coat it well.
4. Add Toppings: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle your chosen toppings onto the dipped pretzel. You can use crushed nuts, sprinkles, or a pinch of sea salt for a sweet and salty combination.
5. Place each chocolate-dipped pretzel onto the prepared baking sheet and let cool. You can speed up the process by placing the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
6. Once the chocolate is fully set, remove the pretzels from the baking sheet and serve. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
