Turkey Meatballs
These gluten free and diary free meatballs are easy to make and you can serve these however you like. Pair them with pasta, zucchini noodles, or spaghetti squash for a delicious meal.
Ingredients
1 pound organic turkey
1 yellow onion
1 egg
1 tbsp coconut aminos
1 tbsp Tamari or soy sauce
4 minced garlic cloves
1/4 cup cassava flour or flour of choice (almond flour or oat flour are other great options)
1 tsp ground sea salt
1 tsp pepper
3 tsp oregano
3 tsp basil
Instructions
1. Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the onion, garlic, egg, coconut aminos, soy sauce, flour of choice, sea salt, pepper, oregano, and basil.
3. Add the ground turkey to the mixture and mix well.
4. Place the mixture in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to firm up, making it easier to form into balls.
5. Form small balls and place them onto an ungreased baking sheet or a parchment-lined baking sheet.
6. Bake for 20 minutes at 400°F.
